Spinnmästaren is a room for small meetings and private discussions. The close proximity to the cafe is a nice bonus!

History

Spinnmästaren was foreman and supervisor of the spinners (the prisoners) in Långholmen’s spinning house. The spinning house was functional between 1724 and 1827 to become later an America – inspired cell prison. In the book “Vävarnas barn” (English Title: Children of the Weavers) by P A Fogelström you can read more about serving time in the spinning house.
