Hotel or hostel?
Surrounded by green areas and close to the beach, you will find Långholmen hotel and hostel. The buildings have previously been a prison and detention center, but nowadays this is a pleasant and unique place in Stockholm. Whether you choose to stay at the hotel or the hostel, you stay in the former cells – today renovated and provided with good comfort for a relaxing night.
Hotel
Stay comfortably with hotel standards. We have cells for 1-4 persons where a lovely breakfast buffet is included.

Hostel
Stay at the hostel and choose yourself what to include. We have cells with private bathrooms or cells with shared bathrooms in our hostel corridor. Bed linen, towels and breakfast is added if desired.

In the city
The island of Långholmen is located between Södermalm and Kungsholmen. It takes about 10 minutes to walk here from Hornstull, where you will find the nearest subway, buses and airport shuttles. If you come here by car, we offer free parking subject to availability.

Food & Drinks
At Långholmen’s Restaurant, in the building next door, we serve excellent food from morning to night. We offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and menus for parties and meetings. Next to the restaurant you will find the bar Finkan where you can sit down for something lovely to drink. During the summer months, we open up the restaurant park if you want to eat outside. In addition, you can always buy drinks, coffee and snacks in our hotel reception, which is open around the clock.

Meeting rooms
If you need a group room or a meeting room when you stay with us, it can be added. We have several rooms that are connected to the hotel and the hostel. If you would like to arrange a larger meeting or a party, we also have our own manor-style banquet hall. We also have our own conference department that will help you if you want to book a conference with an overnight stay.

Activities
We have our own events department that offers fun, exciting and educational activities. We also have guided tours wich includes a visit to our own prison museum. During the summer, we can advise you to outdoor activities such as kayaking.
