Långholmen’s New Activity
Did you know that Långholmen’s history spans over 350 years?
Feel the wings of history. Dressed in black-and-white striped clothing, you will enjoy our challenges in Långholmen’s old prison wing right in the heart of Stockholm. This is where Alstavik Manor was built. Here, women were held at the Spinnhuset, and many men have sat in prison.
Let the challenges begin!
Now, together and in teams, you will take on captivating challenges. Along walls and staircases where prisoners walked before you, you will encounter a Prison Guard eager to test your knowledge. Perhaps you will be asked, “When did this happen?” or “How was this done back then?”
You will answer tricky questions, solve practical problems, and learn more about our prison history—from the past to the present. Will you succeed in earning your Release?
Finish off with something tasty
The event concludes with the announcement of the winners. Celebrate with a welcome drink before sitting down to enjoy a pleasant three-course dinner. In the past, Långholmen’s prisoners received only Bread & Water, and we still serve it if desired (water in your preferred strength).
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 18–99. Each participant receives their own striped prisoner’s cap, included in the experience.
